Candidates must be available to work a mixture of shifts. Applicants who are unable to offer good, regular weekend and evening availability will unfortunately not be considered for fixed hours roles.

We are hiring for 2 Senior Host positions, each based at one of our London Studios.

Senior Hosts are the anchors of MASAJ studios — experienced leaders, brand guardians, and role models for the team. You’ll bring calm, confidence, and excellence to every shift, ensuring the studio thrives and every guest feels the depth of our care.

Alongside running day-to-day operations, you’ll mentor newer Hosts, nurture the Studio’s culture, and act as a bridge between the studio and central operations. It’s a role for those who want to lead not just with skill, but with passion, too.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing the day-to-day operations of our busy Studio site, working to support clients, therapists, and the back-of-house team to ensure that every visit to MASAJ is an exceptional one.

• Increasing sales of appointments, walk-in bookings, products and vouchers both to existing clients and walk-ins, through engagement and storytelling the brand.

• Managing our busy Studio diary, using email and the telephone to make the day of bookings run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, as well as facilitating walk-in bookings to curious passers-by.

• Demonstrating considered and effective communication with others across the business - making sure that challenges are surfaced and managed efficiently, and that nothing slips through the cracks on busy days.

• Lead by example in delivering best-in-class guest experiences.

• Ensure the smooth running of the studio with confidence and autonomy.

• Guide and mentor Junior and Studio Hosts, helping them grow into their potential.

• Collaborate with central operations to align studio performance with wider goals.

• Protect and champion MASAJ values — care, integrity, and connection.

• A willingness to feedback to other team members to support the working environment and protect the guest experience

Desired

• Experience within the wellness / multi-site hospitality industry

• Experience using a booking platform within the wellness sector (e.g. Fresha)

As a Senior Host, you’re a key part of the leadership journey at MASAJ, with opportunities to grow into broader operations or operational management roles as the business scales.

We have an exciting opportunity for Cover Host Team Members to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our team of Studio Therapists and community of customers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Studios. This is a great opportunity for those interested in providing extraordinary client care, gaining experience in the wellbeing sector, and those who thrive in a busy and evolving startup environment.

This role is an ad-hoc position, supporting coverage for our Studio Hosts & Senior Hosts, with shifts available at MASAJ’s central London locations in Shoreditch & Marylebone.

ESSENTIAL

• Experienced, calm and confident communication skills, both internally and with clients / customers in person, via email and over the phone.

• A strong sales mindset: confidence and experience in up-selling to new and existing clients.

• Experience within a similar Front of House/ Sales / Reception / Customer Support role.

• Experience with G-Suite tech and an ability to quickly learn and master new systems (booking platforms, Slack etc.)

• An ability to set the tone and vibe of the site under pressure - ensuring that the Studios remain a calming environment even when the site is busy!

• Assertiveness: an ability to use your intuition and initiative to ensure that the client experience is second to none.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport with others - and a desire to lean in and contribute to the wider MASAJ Team community.

• Fluent and confident written and spoken English.

• An interest in wellbeing / Bodywork and a genuine enthusiasm for the MASAJ brand.

DESIRABLE

• Experience in the wellbeing / wellness / hospitality industry.

• Experience using a booking platform within the wellness sector (such as Fresha)
